Did you know that only 2% of all people working within shipping are women? At the same time studies show that companies that are gender-equal make more money, are better at keeping talent, and are more innovative and creative.
At Stena Line, our ambition is to be a leader in sustainable shipping. This means we will lead the transformation towards emission-free shipping and an industry characterised by equality and diversity. Reflecting all of society also gives us a better understanding of our customers, enabling us to create an even greater customer experience.
Gender equality is one of our two primary focus areas within sustainability and one of our targets is to have 30% of our leaders who are female. Last year we passed the 20% mark; the fourth consecutive year this figure has increased since we started measuring in 2016.
